Records

The Martin County Sheriff’s Office Records Department provides diversified public services as well as agency support duties described as follows: handgun permits to qualified applicants, maintenance of agency reports/records including court mandated functions, process records releases, process predatory offender registration, issue burn permits, and assist the public.

The Records Department is open for the public Monday through Friday between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. excluding holidays. You can also email Kathy Peterson for assistance. Photo identification must be presented when requesting reports. Cases currently under investigation cannot be released. Records releases are made within a reasonable amount of time to authorized individuals in accordance to the law, and may require a fee where applicable.
